Okay I'll be the first to say it. Ringo Starr is the luckiest man in the history of Rock and Roll.  Talk about being at the right place in the right time. The Beatles were incredible, but let's face it---Ringo was just along for the ride.

In any event I'm writing this after watching this video on Ringo Starrs website.

I'm actually just recovering from a violent fit of laughter after watching this stupid video. Apparently Ringo had just enough time from his feverish schedule of signing autographs and reading fan mail to record that quite humerous video.

This is a lesson in how to alienate fans. Now I can't imagine after nothing to show from a post-Beatles career besides a handful of bad solo albums and Thomas the fricken Tank Engine, Ringo is getting any more than 20 piece of mail a day. That's probably being generous. But really?? You want to discourage people who you want to sell music and crappy merchandise from engaging you? This is one of the rare times where a record label needs to step in and stop their artist from doing something stupid. 

Peace and Love! Peace and Love! I'm too busy for fans so fuck off, but peace and love!! PS Buy a handbag with my name on it! McCartney never pulled this shit did he? At least he has the good sense to ignore fan mail without telling his fans he is doing so.
